1. Choose a partner to work with and sit together at a computer.
2. Read over the following questions to get an idea of what you will be researching. You will complete one set of questions for each of the three rock types.

4. Once you've answered the questions with your partner, review the rock cycle diagram(above) and explore the different factors that contribute to the formation of rocks.
5. Next, the two of you may choose one of the 3 rock types to summarize and present to the class. Each summary should include at least one example of your rock type with a picture and can be uploaded to the class blog.
